Hello everyone it is your favorite diabetic country girl once again to share with you some of my pointless ramblings… My sugar numbers have been doing great… I do not know what I am doing unless it is the fact I have beens so TREMENDOUSLY busy and snacking along the way or what but hey I will take it … lol Things right now are so busy and so many changes coming right now I do not know where to start. I guess I will start with the biggest change in my life .. THE LUNCHBOX… My dear friend and sister from another mother Crystal Myers and I are opening a hot dog stand in Clendenin, WV… Since there is no where to eat we decided to use that to our advantage and help out the community as well. I am super excited to be doing this. However I have not had an actual daily job in 15 years where I was working at Pizza Hut in Elkview, WV 16 hours a day. I worked for the Town & Country Papers but that was easy work to me. This is a lot of difference. I am just hoping and praying I can handle it. ONe of my biggest fears is letting people down. I will do my all time best not to.. But I am harder on myself than anyone else is I know that but like I said I HATE letting people down. The community, Crystal, and my family… I will DIE if that is what it takes to make this business a success for her… I know I am crazy but I want to make sure she doesn't lose anything because of me. That would KILL me… I have done this kinda work before I worked at Shafer’s in Clendenin back when they made the best chicken in town.. I worked at the old Linda’s Tastee freeze as well.. But that was so many years ago. I guess I just worry about me having Diabetes, heart murmur, and so on so forth and my age that I will let her down :( .. I WILL NOT LET ANYONE DOWN!!!!!!! That is my pledge.. I know I am hard on myself but that is what I have to do to keep me on point. I DO NOT CARE if i make a dime as long as I can do my best and keep her up and running that is all the payment I need… I will be working 6 days a week from 10 am to 7 pm and that is fine as long as we can serve the community and stay afloat… So come on down to the Lunchbox in Clendenin, WV at the bottom of Kelly Hill just past Murdock’s garage and see us when we open. Right now we are waiting on the electric to be turned on. Someone stole the meter head to put in their home to have free electric. So as soon as AEP gets that up and running we will get expected and open... I AM SUPER EXCITED..
